Omisi, Shimon

Son of Salem and Badria (Miriam). He was born in Yemen in 1941. The family immigrated to Israel when Shimon was eight years old and settled in Ein Ya’akov, near the settlement of Even Yehuda, where he attended elementary school in May 1959 and joined the IDF in May 1959 On the 17th of Tammuz 5719 (17.7.1959). He was laid to rest in the military cemetery in Netanya. A Torah scroll was donated in his memory by his parents and he is in the synagogue in Ein Yaakov.
