Omer, Reuven (Rubik)

Son of Zahora and Aryeh. Born in Tel Aviv on the 18th of Tishrei, October 6, 1963. On October 29, 1981, he enlisted in the Armored Corps, completed an officers’ course. He was promoted to the rank of major. Reuven was killed on the 14th of Shevat, January 21, 2008 while on reserve duty. He was Forty four years old. He was laid to rest in the cemetery in Neve Hadar, Hod Hasharon. He left behind a wife, three sons, parents and a sister.
