Chaim, son of Haviva and Nissim Omer, was born in 1912 in Sanaa, the capital of Yemen and immigrated to Israel in 1933. He served as a guard at the potash plant in the northern Dead Sea, and then served in the Kereti Brigade. Chaim was killed in a road accident in the Hatikva neighborhood on the 1st of Tevet 5709 (2.1.1949). He was laid to rest in the military cemetery at Nahalat Yitzhak.
