Omelchenko, Pavel

Pavel, son of Tatiana and Vedim Omelchenko, was born on October 9, 1991. The family immigrated to Israel in 1996. They settled in Nazareth Illit, and in October 2013 Pavel joined the Israel Police, serving in the Northern District and during the service he advanced to the rank of sergeant. He fell in the line of duty on April 4, 2016. He was twenty-four years old. He was laid to rest in the military cemetery in Nazareth Illit. He was survived by his parents. On Pavel’s gravestone, his loved ones wrote in Russian, “You went so suddenly, but your soul lights us forever.”
