Meir, son of Yehuda and Tamar Ohayon, was born in 1949 in the city of Meknes, Morocco, and immigrated to Israel in 1953. He was in the service of the Gadna before his enlistment in the IDF in March 1966. In the midst of his regular service, the Six-Day War broke out, and on the 27th of Iyar 5727 (June 6, 1967) he fell. He was laid to rest in the military cemetery in Nahariya.
