Son of Allen and Jean. Was born on April 22, 1948, in Erie, Pennsylvania, USA, and was the eldest son of Professor Alan and Jean Feller, and as a child wandered with his parents from city to city, where he studied and graduated from elementary schools And high school students in four different cities, was an excellent basketball player and played in the Little League, where he enjoyed reading and listening to music, and after graduating from the University of Ekron, He joined the kibbutz Givat Hayim Meuhad and set up his home there, and he worked in all sectors of the agriculture and after he married the kibbutz member he became a member of the kibbutz He loved children and played and talked to them, he was always very good at human love, he always smiled, he was always willing to help, and so everyone loved him.Jerry saw himself as the family emissary, first and the way to immigrate to Israel. To the IDF at the end of July 1969, and saw this as the final stage of his complete takeover in Israel. After basic training he was assigned to the air force, completing courses for aviation paramedics and general paramedics. During the War of Attrition he served in the hot sectors of Sinai, and after the birth of his son he was transferred to a base closer to his home. On 26.7.1972, when he was on his way back to his base after his discharge, Cpl. Jerry fell in the line of duty, placing a pregnant widow and a son, who was brought to eternal rest in the cemetery at Kibbutz Givat Haim. (In January 1973), and his memory was included in the “Yizkor” organ in memory of the members of Kibbutz Givat Hayim Meuhad who are no longer alive.
