Ochro, Israel (Ashrelak)

Was born on April 18, 1928) in Tel Aviv, but studied and was educated in the elementary school in Binyamina. After finishing school, he worked in the packing of citrus fruit and its wrapper and also worked for a while in the garage. He was a wise and quiet young man, weighing his words and deeds, yet possessed a sense of humor and cheerfulness. Be devoted to his parents’ home and take care of them. He loved the land and was devoted to it. After the UN General Assembly resolution, he responded to the call for the first conscription and was sent to the “Yona” camp as a deputy, a paramedic in the first bombing of the port of Tel Aviv on May 17, 1948, His wounds. Israel was laid to rest in the military cemetery at Nahalat Yitzhak.
