Noywert, Edgar


Son of Yaakov. He was born in 1915. After immigrating to Israel, he settled in Tel Aviv and worked in horticulture, and during World War II he joined the British Army and was assigned to the Signal Corps, where he served in Egypt. On 21 Cheshvan, 11.11.1941, he was killed in a car accident and brought to eternal rest in the Hadara cemetery in Alexandria. His name was immortalized in the book of volunteerism, in the Yizkor book of the Jabotinsky Institute and in the “Book of the Year of the Journalists”. He was 26 years old when he was killed.
