Notman, Benjamin
Son of Emanuel and Chanah. He was born on the 28th of Kislev, December 5, 1934, in Givat Ada. He grew up in the air of defense, that was at home and around him, and accompanied his father on his patrols, as a guard in orchards and observation posts. During the War of Independence he was a liaison in the Gush, and even spent whole nights at the Hagana headquarters in the area, in a number of assignments. After the war, he joined the hachshara. He was drafted into the IDF in December 1952. On April 5, 1953, he fell in the line of duty, as a result of infiltration shots between Tel Mond and Kfar Hess. He was brought to rest in the cemetery in Tel Mond.
