Nogerchihan, Yaakov

Yaakov, son of Taos and Aaron Nogerchihan, was born in Iran in 1959. Yaakov served in the army rabbinate from February 28, 1979. After his service Yaakov settled in Petach Tikva with his wife Ayala and their nine children. Rav Yaakov fell in the line of duty on 26 Elul, 25 September 2011, while he was in reserve duty. He was laid to rest in the cemetery in Segula, Petach Tikva, leaving behind his wife and children.
