Nissim, Baruch


Son of Paula and Jacob, was born on 27.4.1953 in Moshav Matzliah. Baruch attended elementary school in Ramla and completed the automotive mechanics department at the “Amal” vocational school in Rehovot. Until his enlistment Baruch worked as a mechanic in various garages in Tel Aviv and Ramle. Baruch was drafted into the IDF in August 1971. He was promoted to the rank of corporal and was given the signal of operational service and the Yom Kippur War “Baruch was a” disciplined soldier who fulfilled his duty properly and to the satisfaction of his commanders. “At the end of August 1974, Baruch was released from regular service and married and the couple settled in Ramle, On August 23, 1983, Corporal Baruch fell in the line of duty and was brought to rest at the old cemetery in Ramla. Left a wife, parents, five brothers and a sister.
