Reuven, son of Esther and father, was born in Tel Aviv on December 22, 1952. He completed his elementary studies at the Bar Yochai School in Kiryat Shalom, where he lived, and later decided to study a profession, – “Ort Abu Kabir” professional book, where he studied electrical engineering for three years, and at the end of his studies he was certified as an electrician, and went to work in the electrical profession to help support the household and to implement what he had learned in school In order to advance and improve his professional abilities Reuven was a member of the Hanoar Haoved Vehalomed movement and during his four years of activity in the movement he traveled extensively throughout the country, He was an excellent athlete, with good physical fitness and a great deal of fitness training, to develop his strong body, and he was an avid photography enthusiast, wherever he went, took his camera with him, and photographed many places, sites and people. He was interested in photography, both for the purchase of materials and for the purchase of professional books in this field, he loved music and listened to the radio and records, Reuven was a quiet and humble boy with a sensitive and understanding Lev. Reuven was drafted into the Israel Defense Forces in early November 1970 and volunteered for the Egoz commando unit, and he was a well-disciplined soldier, with all his precision and skill, and his friends loved him for his kindness and friendship. Together to tell stories and experiences from the army, he was a dedicated and caring son and often wrote home to remove the family’s concern, and often called on the phone and sent greetings to friends, and during his brief and rare vacations he learned English and improved his education. On the Day of Atonement, Reuven was at home with his family He visited his unit and told his family where he and his activities had been during the war, because he did not want to be treated during the war, and during his vacations during the war he used to visit injured friends and their families on the 16th of February. He was laid to rest in the military cemetery in Kiryat Shaul, leaving behind his parents, two brothers and a sister.
