Nissan, Yinon-Yigal

Nissan, Yinon-Yigal

Son of Shula and Moshe. He was born in Ma’ale Adumim on the 2nd of Shvat 5768 (February 1, 1987), a third child to his parents, a younger brother of Evyatar and Lasseti, who was born in Naor and Almog. Twelve classes. Yinon, Janoni as they called him, turned out to be a comfortable and quiet child. He did not rock if he did not get what he wanted, he was mature for his age and could accept, for example, the mother’s refusal to give him a snack before eating: “Mother later, okay?” He would say, and go back to play. He liked to play LEGO and thought games, and being orderly and organized would put every game back where it was finished. Was a child “sandwich” devoted to his family, a loving and responsible son who did everything to the satisfaction of his parents, a full partner for housework. A modest son who could appreciate what he had received, a disciplined son who had the full backing of his parents even on the few occasions when he did not behave as usual. A very honest child who, if he had lied, was joking and would immediately say, “Just joking.” Yinon had hands with a touch of magic: he used to massage the entire family, he was a professional in the field, and he managed to ease his parents’ pain. He also liked to help in the kitchen, and used to prepare his mother sandwiches when she returned from work. He was full of love for his two little brothers. He and Naor separated for nine years. Almog was born when he was thirteen years old and he was actually their “mother and father”, the right hand of the parents who went to work. Yinon fed them, helped with homework, went out to walk with them in the park, helped with showers, and told them stories before bedtime. The young Almog hung on Yinon’s neck all the time and refused to go to anyone else. During vacations, Yinon would come with them to the pool, and to the astonishment of his friends he replied that they had not forced him, but he did so of his choice and of his own accord. As a result, his friends changed their attitude toward the families and began to take part in the burden. Even with his older brother and sister, Lennon had an excellent relationship. He used to consult with them on many subjects, especially with regard to military service, and with Eviatar he loved to fight – despite his thin and spindly body, Yinon was a strong and muscular man. Yinon always conveyed caring, love, giving and caring to all around him. He volunteered to help and solve the problems of others, always stood up to protect the weak and was praised for his behavior. At school he was shown as an example of a class, when everyone said, “I wish they were like him.” Thanks to all this, he had a great circle of friends that accompanied him all his life. “I always remember that we were in Tiberias, we saw a distant buoy and we did a competition,” said Amir, a friend of his. “Inon always made everyone smile and always have a sense of joy. He came back to me, brought me the mattress and said to me: ‘Now you can come.’ I gave him a smile and I went on … “In the 10th grade In his school, Yinon received a personal commitment mission and chose to carry it out in the library … I wanted to read books and this place suited me exactly … I was interested in helping the librarian – as a student I thought the work was easy and not serious, I claimed that the librarian was sitting and hardly working, but I was glad to find out that I was wrong … I felt that I contributed a lot, because when the boys of the high school come to pick up material from the matriculation library and you help them, you feel part of their success … “Yinon was a soccer fan and was a fan of Beitar JerusalemD. Recruitment to the army hardly missed its game. In the last year of high school, he prepared himself for combat service in many sports training, and since they trusted him, he received the keys to the gymnasium at the school. Following his training he grew very strong and showed “squares” in the stomach. At the end of his studies, in preparation for the upcoming induction, he traveled with friends to a trip to Ayia Napa, Cyprus. Yinon joined the IDF on 30 November 2005. Despite medical problems, he insisted on arriving at a combat unit and serving in the Armored Corps as a tanker in the 53th Battalion “Storm” in the 1888 Brigade. Already during the course the fighter demonstrated high abilities and during long distance runs he would go back to prod and encourage the difficulties At the end of the course he received the rank of corporal, was chosen for a distinguished soldier in physical fitness and was awarded a certificate of excellence.Inon was appointed to the position of a tank gunner, in which he was the youngest member of the crew and was a sniper. On July 12, 2006, the Second Lebanon War began, after the Hizbullah terrorists launched an artillery bombardment along their back To the north, sponsored missile attacks army patrol, killed, wounded and kidnapped soldiers. During the first two weeks of the war, Yanun’s unit remained in a base in the center of the country and then they were sent to Lebanon. Yinon fell in a battle in southern Lebanon on Saturday night, August 12, 2006, when his tank was hit. The crew of the tank fell with Yinon: First Sergeant Dan Breuer, First Sergeant Haran Lev, Staff Sergeant Oz Zemach. A commendation from the Commander of the Northern Command, Major General Gadi Eizenkot, was awarded to Yennon after his fall for demonstrating commitment to the mission, responsibility, personal example, professionalism and friendship. During the battle from Bint Jbeel, a heavy fire of anti-tank missiles was fired at an armored force from the “Sofa” battalion, which hit tank 3A. The tank commander was wounded and ceased to function. The charge took control of the tank, but found it hard to get it back. Yanon (Yigal) Nissan, who served as a crew member in tank 3B, went into a cover post to shoot at the threat and help the 3A tank crew escape the threatened area. The tank entered the post exposed in daylight and under fire. Yinon (Yigal) Nissan and his team helped to rescue tank 3A backward. With the completion of the rescue operation, Yanun’s tank was hit by an anti-tank missile, and all the crew members were killed. Yinon was nineteen when he fell. He was laid to rest in the military cemetery on Mount Herzl, Jerusalem. Survived by parents, sister and three brothers. He was promoted to sergeant after he fell. A month after the fall, Yinon’s father said: “… I can not express in words the loss of our dreams, the dreams of both of us after the army, it is not fair that we can not realize them, it is against the nature that you boys are leaving us to deal with it. I want to ask you now, in the month of Selichot, to forgive you for agreeing that you took on a lot of responsibility and concern for the house, even though it was not your job. Hug and love. ” In his unit he wrote: “Yinon enlisted for a certain purpose – to serve the country, he did not have time to get to know his base, and he did not have time to get to know his friends. He did not have time to return to his room at the base after a hard day, and was thrown out of bed with fatigue. “Yinon sacrificed his life for the lives of others.” The principal of the high school in which Yinon was studying eulogized him: “… a modest boy who radiates tranquility around him, glowing to the people around him, teachers as friends, gentle and sensitive to others, to himself asking for nothing.Delightful – a model for everyone. He smiles a lot, laughs-a happy boy. It was so easy to love him. He invested great effort as someone who was certain of the value of learning. He did not flinch from any difficulty, did not give up himself, fulfilled every task calmly and responded to every directive. Refusal? resistance? Debate? “It’s not Yinon.” So much seriousness in the body and soul is so youthful, so soft … “wrote Rotem, a friend of Yinon:” … All I have left is to say thank you. Thank you for being such a good friend that you were my brother. Thank you for smiling one smile that made me smile back. Thank you for keeping in touch even when the army kept me away from you. Thanks for giving me respect, love and admiration, knowing it’s mutual. Thank you for always considering everyone’s wishes, thank you for giving up so much because you wanted your relative to be better than you wanted to have. Thank you for always being optimistic for a pessimistic friend, and most importantly my brother – thank you for giving your life to save another life … “On Kibbutz Maayan Baruch in the north, where one of the fallen lives, The family has published a book of songs in memory of Yinon, including songs by Father Moshe and other family members, and in the poem “Summer Day” the father wrote: “Seated at the beach on a summer day / The debris, looking at the waves / remembering the beautiful days / where the paths lead you / and the rivers flowing in your veins. // Your heart is full of love / And your eyes are full of joy / You have a fighting spirit / But a piercing steel bullet / Break your dream. “For every man there is a star in the sky / a child like you is a gift from God / a child is like a gift from God / You are above the clouds / with all the stars / and I am full of longing. “In the song” Waiting “the father refers to Yinon’s brother and sister:” … the sun sets, the evening falls / and they wait for you. … // and everyone wants you to tell / about a brother’s wedding or another and make sure you do not be late. Chana, Yinon’s aunt, wrote in the song “For You”: “All the dreams, all the loves behind you / all the words, all the dances Behind you / what you have, what is left behind you. // Burned tank, ash and steel / a little bullets, a few pods / one charred phone / and a lot of pictures. // We will paint your past in our future / We will engrave your memory in our minds / We will fill your dreams with our dreams / Fill your heart / with the love that you have left behind. ” Memorials and memoirs written by friends, and the “Dekel Vilnai” school, where Yinon studied and excelled in sports, initiated an annual race in his memory, with hundreds of runners, students, friends and soldiers. In her words before the start of the race, the school principal said: “… This race, in honor of Yinon, symbolizes life, the current flow of life … We left the classrooms to breathe the fresh air, to enjoy the soft sun, “On November 29, 2006, at the end of the first race, a memorial ceremony was held for members of the family, The city, mThe management of the school and its staff, the brigade commanders and many friends from the city and the IDF, who spoke about Yinon and his life stations, and the stories were various pieces of poetry.
