Neuman, Yitzhak (“Itzu”)


Son of Avraham and Eve. He was born on 9 August 1946 in Kibbutz Ma’anit, where he grew up in the children’s society, where he lived until his adolescence, and went to the kibbutz school until sixth grade, after which he moved to the educational institution at Kibbutz Ein Shemer He studied until he completed high school in the twelfth grade. The first was in everything – in sports, in social life, in studies and in volunteering to help others. He was a member of the Ha – Shomer ha – Tsa’ir youth movement and even taught there; In sports he belonged to Hapoel, played volleyball at Hapoel’s Hapoel, and was a soccer player in the Hapoel youth club in Hadera. At Maccabiah in 1965, he was part of the Israeli team in light athletics. Was the champion of high jump high schools and the youth champion in pole vaulting. His great lover of nature volunteered to give his hand in the supervision of his reserves and on behalf of the Society for the Protection of Nature he was appointed supervisor of nature reserves in the area. On November 27, 1966, when he was about to complete the pilot’s course, he fell in the line of duty and was brought to eternal rest in Beit- The military cemetery in Netanya, after which he was promoted to the rank of sergeant, is held for a year in a memory competition between the Northern District and the Southern District.
