Neuman, Moshe (Ijo)


Son of Miriam and Yechezkel, was born on 23 January 1922 in Bystrica, Romania. He studied in an elementary school abroad. In 1935, at the age of 13, he immigrated to Israel. Here he worked as a locksmith. Was a courageous guy who was always ready and ready to act for the homeland he loved with all his warmth and fire. Prior to his enlistment in the Givati ​​Brigade, he was a member of the Irgun underground and fell on Sunday, 3 November 1948, in an attack on Regiment 7, one of the Egyptian “Burma Road” administrations, south of the Iraqi-Suweidan police. He was laid to rest at the Warburg military cemetery.
