Yoram, son of Dina and Gershon, was born on 26.8.1953 in Kibbutz Hukuk. He completed his studies at the kibbutz elementary school and later completed his studies at the Beit Yerach high school in the Jordan Valley. Yoram was a serious and profound student, but at the same time full of energy and mischief. He used not to accept conventions without appeal and scrutiny, and to have a developed sense of criticism. Many fields of interest aroused his curiosity and he took a deep interest in them. He read encyclopedias and studied atlases, loved geography and science, and devoted interest to graphics and painting. From an early age he formulated clear ideas and positions in various areas, including in the political sphere, and he was able to formulate his ideas with logic and wit. He was a member of the Hakibbutz Hameuchad Brigade and participated in its activities. He was a sports fan and especially liked the basketball game. In this game he invested a lot of energy, thought and time, played in the basketball team of the kibbutz and organized it and even trained the young players. He also excelled in swimming and diving. Yoram was a sensitive and introverted lad, but knew how to cover up his sensitivity, sometimes with a smile and sometimes with tough behavior. He was always willing to help others and to help the caregiver, his friends, his teachers, and his family. He was a loyal and devoted son to his parents and a loving brother, helping his brothers and sisters. Yoram was drafted into the IDF at the beginning of November 1972 and assigned to the armored infantry unit. After completing basic training and a series of training, he was appointed as a machine gunner in an armored personnel carrier, and was an outstanding soldier, despite being a little scattered, and during his army service he tried not to worry his parents and to write home to prevent them from feeling sorry for his safety. His unit in Sinai participated in the bravery battles against the Egyptians who crossed the Suez Canal on October 9, 1973. He was killed and fell in a battle that took place on the hills of Hamutal, and was brought to rest in the cemetery in Hokuk. , A brother and three sisters (one of whom was born after his death) and was promoted to the rank of corporal in a letter of condolence to the bereaved family.
