Nemukka, Chaim
Son of Rojana and Nahum, was born in 1926 in the city of Alexandria, Egypt. In his hometown he finished elementary school and went to work. On August 22, 1946, he immigrated to Israel. He worked temporarily as a cook at the Cafe Europa in Jerusalem, but he took his life for agricultural settlement and was a member of the core of Moshav Uriah. Immediately after his arrival in Israel he joined the Haganah. During the War of Independence he served as an electrician in the Negev Brigade of the Palmach, while serving in the Negev, was injured by an Egyptian shelling and fell in Dorot on the 14th of Iyar 5708 (23.5.1948). 1954) was put to rest at the military cemetery on Mount Herzl in Jerusalem.
