Neiger, Aryeh


Son of Shimon and Ita. He was born on March 19, 1950 in Jerusalem. He completed his elementary and high school studies at the Hebrew Gymnasium in the city. 1963-1966) was a member of the youth movement of the Scouts in the Negev Brigade in the Masada tribe in Jerusalem. Arie especially loved jazz music and folk songs. He had an impressive collection of records and used to listen to them at any time of leisure with his close friends. He would also spend a lot of time reading fiction. At the same time, he was an outstanding social man and he who always organized social gatherings and was the driving force among them was also an outstanding student whose friends approached him for help in his studies and he answered them and helped them. He willingly and kindly did so because he was the symbol of kindness and pleasantness. Moro wrote to his family after they fell and noted the human side of him, his righteousness, his desire to fulfill his duty quietly and perfectly. He was not content with less than perfect. Arie was conscripted into the IDF in July 1968. He died on March 23, 1970. He was laid to rest at the military cemetery on Mount Herzl in Jerusalem.
