Negri, Eran


Ben Anat and Giora. He was born on April 11, 1971 in Kibbutz Ein Harod (Meuhad). On his third birthday, his family left for Belgium on a father’s security mission. Where he began his studies in a Jewish school. When he returned to Israel he studied at the kibbutz elementary school. He continued to study at the Emek Harod Regional High School in computers and graduated in 1989. Eran was a somewhat weak child compared to his age, due to celiac disease and asthma. Despite his physical condition, he excelled in his studies and gained status among his friends because of his moral position and knowledge authority. He did not aspire to stand out but to preserve his self and contribute to his ability to society. After completing his studies, Eran enlisted for an early year of service, for training work within the framework of the Hanoar Haoved Vehalomed movement in Sderot. Later, when the enlistment came, and although he was exempt from this duty due to his poor health, he volunteered for the IDF at the end of October 1990 and was assigned to serve in the Recruiting Office, during which he served on the 24th of Tevet 5751 (10.1.1991) He was survived by his parents, brother and sister, Moshe and Mor, and published a pamphlet in his memory containing many poems written by him expressing his worldview and his unique attitude to reality.
