Nayazoff, Sasson

Son of Netanel and Michal. He was born on July 10, 1950 in Jerusalem. He studied at the “Doresh Zion” elementary school and at the “Bayit Vagan” high school in the “Marom Zion” youth camp. He was drafted into the Israel Defense Forces in May 1968 and assigned to the Signal Corps on January 24, 1970, when an ammunition truck exploded at the port of Eilat and was laid to rest at the military cemetery on Mount Herzl in Jerusalem. The Goddess: “The impression Eli Sasson made was actually during the course he had undergone when he arrived at the company. The power and electronics news he brought with him was quite meager, but he did so with great willpower and with great diligence in his studies, and so on throughout his service was the strong desire to carry out every task he was given, the peace of mind, modesty and humility that accompanied him in all stages of progress in the army. But what was particularly noteworthy about Sasson was his willingness to help others. This feature stands out immediately in the army when one sees a soldier from Nablus and helps a friend at any time. But this trait was rare in strength. His personal well-being and personal needs never stood before him and he always gave up in favor of his friends and never had a complaint or a claim. In the last operation, Sasson was appointed commander of the team. At the very last minute, his crew member was taken on a different mission and only after 24 hours of strenuous work did I suddenly feel that all the time Sean was working alone. We immediately sent him another soldier and when we asked him, ‘Why did not you say that you were working alone?’ Answered: “I saw that everyone was working hard and I saw no point in demanding help for myself.” That is how it will always remain in our memory. “
