Navon, Zvi


Son of Yaakov and Ita-Penny, members of Moshav Ein Vered in Tel Mond. Born on October 4, 1935 in Tel Aviv, he studied until the end of 10th grade at the school in Tel Mond, was a member of the Hanoar Haoved movement and completed the technical school of the Israel Air Force. In December 1952 and in 1954, he completed a pilot course and reached the rank of lieutenant colonel. On May 13, 1956, he fell in the line of duty and was brought to rest in the cemetery in Tel Mond, and in 1957 he built a basketball court in his name.
