Navarro, Rami (Raymond)


Son of Daniel and Esther. Was born in Cairo in Egypt in 1957. His entire family immigrated to Israel in 1957. Rami attended elementary schools in Daughter of-Yam and Givat Nesher, where he studied at the “Mevo’ot Yam” He completed his studies as a diesel mechanic and spent one year working in the Israel Defense Forces, and in November 1965 he was drafted into the Israel Navy and served in the Eilat Navy until the bitter and hasty day when Egyptian missiles were hit and hit, On October 21, 1967, in front of a Romanian beach in northern Sinai, his body was taken down with a ship and was not found, and therefore a monument was placed in his memory for the missing soldiers in the military cemetery on Mount Herzl in Jerusalem. His burial place is unknown.
