Nataf, Yosef (“Yossi”)


Son of Saadia is a visa. Was born on April 13, 1945 in the Tunisian city of Tunis and immigrated to Israel in the midst of the War of Independence in April 1948. He completed his elementary studies at the Rashi School in Givat Aliya in Jaffa and continued to attend evening classes at Beit- The book is in high school in Tel Aviv. Worked in the “stainless steel” factory as a locksmith. Joseph had a penchant for public work. He was active in the party and wanted to be a youth counselor. He studied at the “Technicon” school in the electricity track, and his goal was to become an electronics engineer. He was drafted into the army in April 1964 and served only three months because he supported his parents, and occasionally went to reserve duty for long periods to fill the gap. He was killed on the 9th of Sivan 5727 (9.6.1967). He put a wife in her pregnancy. He was laid to rest in the military cemetery in Afula and was later transferred to the eternal rest of the military cemetery in Kiryat Shaul. In a letter of condolence to his family, the battalion commander noted that Yossi was “a soldier and a model fighter, and we always knew with confidence that his quick hands and beliefs would operate every tool and cover us in every situation. Among other things, he wrote about Yossi as a religious and traditional Jew who knew how to evoke in his comrades-in-arms respect and admiration for religious values, and they all knew that he was carrying his prayer and serving all his friends as a public emissary.
