Narvat, Zvika


Ben Hanna and Haim. He was born on 17.12.1975 in Rishon LeZion, the brother of Iris and Yifit, the only grandson of the Nervat family. Zvika grew up and was educated in Rishon Letzion, studied at the Be’eri elementary school, at the “last of the Biluim” high school, and at Amit Amit High School in the geographic direction. And he himself was the toy of the garden. Every child wanted to sit beside him and be his friend. I called him Zvika Shelly, “his first teacher wrote, and Zvika grew up and became a handsome, quiet and handsome young man, loved by his friends, supportive and helpful at all times and in every way. “You always knew what you wanted from yourself, and yet you were a child of a mother who could not wake up in the morning without the tea,” wrote a friend, and Zvika was an avid sports fan. He participated in various sports and competitions, and won many achievements, especially for the sea: swimming, fishing and diving, before completing a two-star diving course. YB met his girlfriend, Shani, and since then they have not parted. In preparation for the draft, he debated what to choose, and was motivated and proud to serve in an elite unit. At the end of July 1994, Zvika enlisted in the Givati ​​Brigade for the Shaked Battalion. After basic training he was stationed in the Gaza Strip. He had served only eight months. On the morning of Sunday, 9 April 1995, Zvika was killed in a terror attack near Kfar Darom on his way to the base, where five other soldiers were killed on the bus, and Zvika was mortally wounded and died shortly after. Zvika was laid to rest in the military cemetery in Rishon Letzion and left behind his parents and two sisters, and was promoted to the rank of sergeant Zvika, “the purple angel of Shaked August 1994,” so he remained in the memory of his comrades. And always extends his hand to help the friend, the little smile was the sign that he understands the mission, accepts what was imposed upon him, and performs it as best he can. The commander of the unit: “… Zvika was a smiling soldier who loved the unit and the life. Loved his parents and sisters, and his second girlfriend, with whom she celebrated her birthday before returning to the unit. Zvika was popular among his friends and stood out in his department in helping others and motivating. The soldiers and commanders of the regiment are mourning the loss of a son, a brother, a bad warrior and an outstanding fighter. “On 21 March 1996, a memorial ceremony was held at the” last of the Biluim “school. In the evening, words were spoken by friends, family and educators. Each year, the family grants scholarships in the name of Zvika to outstanding students who contribute to the community, in the “last of the Biluim” high school. In memory of two soldiers who fell in the same attack, a kindergarten was set up in the city of Gan, and on Passover there is a march, “March of the Three.” His family published a book in his memory, combining experiences and stories from childhood to military service, in which his childhood friend wrote: “You live in me as I do with you.” “For us, time does not dull the pain, we continue to live with the intense pain and longing that does not let go, we dream of you at all times and ask to believe that we will meet again.”
