Nardi, Amos (“Amos”, “Amosi”)


Son of-Mendel and Shoshana. He was born on 21.1.1941 in Kfar Saba, where he grew up and was later educated in Egged. He was drafted into the IDF in February 1959 and was discharged from the army in February 1959, and before the Six-Day War called to reserve duty and on the sixth day of the battles, he fell on the 10th of June 1967. He left a wife and two children; The second was not yet three months old. Was a responsible driver and performed any work that was imposed on him without fear. He was always one of the first to volunteer for any task assigned to the department. He was buried in the emergency military cemetery in Bari and was later transferred to the eternal rest of the cemetery in Kfar Saba. The local council of Arad published a pamphlet entitled “Five Fallen” – Amos among them.
