Nahum, Moshe
Son of Avraham and Rene. He was born on June 22, 1960 in Ashkelon. At the beginning of May 1978, Moshe was drafted into the IDF, was assigned to the Engineering Corps and took a Plesim course as an enthusiastic soldier. He joined the task force, which was to dismantle mines and evacuate them from the buffer zone near Ras Sudar. He was 18 years old when he fell, leaving behind his parents, a brother and six sisters. The family donated a Torah scroll to the synagogue in Ashkelon to commemorate his memory.
