Nahum, David

David, son of Salomon and Chava Nahum, was born on December 1, 1948 in Tel Aviv. On the second day of the Six-Day War, on May 26, 1967, he was hit by shrapnel when he was in a trench during a Syrian bombardment in the grove of Pardes Huri in the Golan Heights. He was laid to rest in the military cemetery in Nahariya and was later transferred to eternal rest in the military cemetery in Kiryat Shaul.
