Nahum, Aaron

Son of Moshe and Mazal. He was born in 1948 in Izmir, Turkey, and immigrated to Israel with his family in 1949. He attended the Nili Elementary School in Zichron Yaakov and was a good student and was drafted into the IDF in mid-November 1965. He was an excellent soldier and a model friend, And his comrades in arms. After his discharge from regular service, he was occasionally called up for reserve duty. At the end of June 1969 he was called up for active reserve duty. On September 6, 1969, a month after he was injured in a car accident, he died of his wounds. He was brought to eternal rest in the cemetery in Zichron Yaakov.
