Nagar, Shaul


Son of Yitzhak and Sarah. He was born in Petah Tikva on October 3, 1938. He studied at the PICA elementary school. He was an apprentice to the United Movement and was an instructor in the movement and was a central figure in sporting parties and events, mainly because of his elation and great energy. He was drafted into the IDF in November 1956 and joined the Nahal Brigade as a continuation of the movement’s path. He was trained in the army and at the end of November 1959 joined the regular army. On February 24, 1970, Captain Shaul was killed while carrying out his duties in the rescue of an ammunition truck that exploded in Eilat. He left a wife and two children. He was laid to rest in the military cemetery in Kiryat Shaul.
