Peretz received his name from his beloved grandfather, who said that on the day of his birth “burst into the world and with him burst joy, happiness and wealth.” Peretz was the fourth son of the six children of the Nagar family, brother to Rafael, Daniel, Ilan, Avshalom and Oren. In February 1986, Peretz was drafted into the Israel Defense Forces and served as a member of the Israel Defense Forces, and he served in the Ohel Shalom Elementary School and the Rogozin High School. In the Givati Brigade in the Shaked Battalion. In February 1990, he joined the ranks of the career army and served as a carpenter in the Tzabar Battalion, where he loved the soldiers as if he were his children and saw the Second Temple Army.In 1993 he left Givati and continued his service at the Counterterrorism School. And in 1997 he moved to the school for sniping and sniping, and in 1999 he was the deputy commander of the Kalatz (sniper and sniper) school. Peretz met Orly in the IDF, and in 1993 they married and had three beautiful daughters: Odelia, Yaara and Shea Lee, who had a wonderful father and a wonderful husband and was loved by his friends in the community of Karnei Shomron. In August 2002, Peretz was diagnosed with cancer, and continued to work as much as possible: During his illness and hospitalization, he was asked: “How many children do you have?” Peretz answered: “Three in the house and another 120 in the army.” On February 17, 2003, Peretz was assassinated by the illness and he was thirty-four, and Peretz was buried in the military section of the Rosh Ha’ayin cemetery.
