Nagar, Karin
Daughter of Andre and Jack. She was born on the 9th of Elul 5737 (August 23, 1977) in Eilat, the city where she spent her childhood and began her studies at the Arava Elementary School, when Karin, a teenager, moved with her parents to live in Paris where she continued her high school studies. The country and Eilat, and wanted to return to Israel and enlist in the army, despite her difficulties as a single soldier. Karin was assigned to the construction unit, at the base of the air force. “Karin was assigned to the unit as a clerk and performed a variety of positions at the trouble center and at the head office, and was assigned to the systems office in a new and interesting job that included technical work and computer use. Karin created friendships with soldiers from the unit, from the base and from the city of Eilat, which she loved so much, and Karin stood out for her courtesy, innocence and smile. ” Her love for the mountains of Eilat and the desert was great, and in a landscape that was so precious to her Lev she died. Karin fell in the line of duty in a car accident that took place on July 10, 1996. She was nineteen years old. Karin was promoted to corporal after her fall, and was buried in the military cemetery in Eilat, leaving her parents, her sister Lori and her brother Henry.
