Naftali, Shoshana

Shoshana bas Yitzhak and Galit was born on the 17th of Elul, September 2, 1958 in Tirat Hacarmel. As the daughter of a family of eleven, she devoted her vacations to various jobs to help the household. She loved nature and had joy in life. At the end of January 1977, she was drafted into the Israel Air Force and served as a clerk in the Air Force Technical School in Haifa. She passed an aircrew course, and was given a driving course as part of her service. In the 27th of Elul, September 29th, 1978, she fell in the line of duty and was brought to eternal rest in the cemetery in Haifa Shoshana left behind her parents, four brothers and four sisters., in a letter of condolence sent to the bereaved family: “The soldier Shoshana Naftali fulfilled her duty with dedication and loyalty, Left an empty space in our hearts. “
