Naeh, Solomon
Son of Sultana and Avraham Son of-Naim. Born on 28.11.1945 in Morocco and immigrated to Israel with his family in 1951. He attended the Yavneh Elementary School in Hadera, the Hadera High School and the Neurim High School in the field of drafting machines. Shlomo was drafted into the Israel Defense Forces in late November 1963. After completing basic training, Shlomo joined the IAF as a mechanized heavy equipment operator, completing a reserve officer course and serving as an officer in the Judea and Samaria region. During the Gulf War he enlisted in a long-term reserve duty in his unit under permanent conditions. According to his commanders, he was a good and disciplined officer. He invested heavily in his work and was friendly and loving life. On the fifteenth of Kislev 5752 (15.11.1991), Shlomo fell while serving in the military cemetery in Hadera, leaving two sons, Nadav and Itai, two brothers, Yitzhak and Chaim, and seven sisters, Dalia, Miriam, “Captain Shlomo Naeh was one of the pillars of the unit, which led to the implementation of many engineering tasks in the entire divisional area, thereby contributing to the safety of IDF soldiers in the area.”
