Son of Moshe and Louisa. He was born on March 4, 1943 in the city of Biskra, Algeria, immigrated to Israel and a year later was drafted into the IDF. He fell in the line of duty on 26 April 1964 and was brought to eternal rest in the military cemetery in Netanya
