An only son to his parents Moshe and Dina. He was born on March 12, 1947, in Kibbutz Mizra, after his father fell in the War of Independence, where he began his elementary studies at the Mizra educational institution and completed his studies in Netanya, where he studied high school in Mizra and spent one year at school He was a member of the “ORT” youth movement in Netanya, and was a member of the youth movement Hashomer Hatzair and his friends in the movement, And with loyalty and won the appreciation of his commanders. One of his commanders wrote to his mother: “… know that you have a nice and intelligent son and you can certainly be proud of him, both as a person and as an officer in this unit.” After his regular service he joined the permanent army and was the operations officer in the Gaza government. On the 17th of March 1975, he fell in the line of duty. He left a wife and toddler. He was laid to rest in the military cemetery in Kiryat Shaul. After they fell they were promoted to captain.
