Nachmias, Moshe (Mois)


Moshe, son of Tovah and Isaac Nachmias, was born on March 1, 1927 in Jerusalem and attended the boys’ school. After completing his studies, he was accepted to the “Hebrew Printing”, studied arrangement and mechanics. He worked in this for about seven years, and was known as one of the best professionals and was blessed with good relations with all his friends. During the War of Independence he enlisted in the Beit Horon Brigade in the Jerusalem Brigade and participated in battles on the Jerusalem front until he fell against the enemy in the Armon Hanatziv area on the 11th of Av, 5708 (August 16, 1948). He was buried in Sheikh Bader Aleph. On the 17th of Elul 5710 (August 30, 1950) he was transferred to eternal rest in the military cemetery on Mount Herzl in Jerusalem.
