David, son of Simcha and Shmuel, was born on April 12, 1950, in Jerusalem. He attended the Alliance high school and the ORT vocational high school in Jerusalem. David, a member of an old family and sixth generation in Israel, was a diligent and diligent student at the school and was fond of his friends and teachers. He loved sports and loved to travel, so he often went on tours around the country. After graduating from elementary school, David sought to study a profession in order to establish his independence and to ensure his future. So he went to a vocational school where he specialized in automotive mechanics. David was drafted into the Israel Defense Forces in early May 1968 and assigned to the Ordnance Corps, where he served as a mechanic in various combat units, and was rewarded for his reserve service. After the Yom Kippur War, David was drafted and sent to Sinai, during which he served as a mechanic in the unit that fought in the Suez Canal, and on the 22nd of Tishrei, (18.10.1973) was injured and killed while crossing the bridge on the Suez Canal , Who was brought to rest at the Mount Herzl cemetery in Jerusalem, and left behind his parents, two sisters, and a brother who was raised to the rank of sergeant.In his letter of condolence to the bereaved family, his commander wrote that David was a devoted and loyal soldier His comrades-in-arms, was courageous and had a deep faith in the IDF and his victory in the war. His parents donated a magnificent Ark to a synagogue in Jerusalem.
