Moskowitz, Moshe-Zvi


Son of Yekutiel-Yehuda and Chana. He was born on the 14th of Heshvon, March 25, 1950 in Bucharest, Romania. Moshe Zvi was about three months old when his parents immigrated to Israel. He attended the Torat Emet Talmud Torah, the Satmar yeshivas and the Vizhnitz yeshiva in Haifa and the Safed High School. Moshe-Zvi’s perception aroused admiration among his parents and acquaintances. He was only 12 years old when he memorized dozens of pages of Gemara by heart. When he was a high school student, he was considered one of the most prominent and beloved students. He never quarreled with a friend and gave out everything he had to his friends. Moshe Tzvi was drafted into the IDF in August 1971 and assigned to the Armored Corps. After his enlistment and entry into the social framework of the IDF, On the 11th of Tishrai, September 30, 1971, he fell during duty, and was brought to eternal rest in the military cemetery in Haifa. His parentsdonated in his memory artistic copper doors at the entrance to the central Beit Midrash on Herzl Street in Haifa, the artistic work was done by Moshe-Zvi’s father.
