Moshkovitch, David


During the First World War, he was expelled from Palestine by the Turks and arrived in Cairo, Egypt, where he volunteered for the detachment battalion established at the initiative of Joseph Trumpeldor. He was sent with the battalion to the front of Gallipoli, and there, on the 7 Sivan, the 20th of May, 1915, he fell in the name of the “House of Legions”. He is remembered in the book “Yizkor” of the Jabotinsky Institute. His burial place is unknown.
