Moshiavili, Abraham (Eboli)

Son of Nina and Michael. He was born in 1968 in the Soviet Union. In early October 1971, he immigrated with his family to Israel. He began his studies at Shilo Elementary School in Ashdod and continued with the Neve Herzog Yeshiva. At the beginning of January 1986, Abulai was drafted into compulsory military service in the Israel Defense Forces. At the end of this period he was assigned to a fuel base. On August 10, 1988, Abulai fell during his service and was laid to rest at the military cemetery in Ashdod. Survived by his mother, sister Anat and brother Israel. He was twenty-one when he died. In an excerpt from a letter of condolence to the bereaved family, the unit commander wrote: “Your son Abulai served in my unit for about two years, and he performed his duties faithfully and with self-initiative, and Abulai was accepted by his commanders and comrades.
