Moshe, Shlomo (‘Shlomi’)


Son of-Itzhak and Tamar were born in Tel Aviv on the 11th of Shvat 5717 (11.1.1957). D. Gordon in the Holon. Shlomi was a handsome boy. And connected to his household. When he grew older he became attached to his parents and brothers who loved him and took great pride in him. Prior to joining the IDF, he successfully completed a driving course and received a driver’s license, and Shlomo was drafted into the IDF in February 1975 and was put into the Artillery Corps. After basic training he was sent to Egged Artillery in Sinai. “Shlomo was a model soldier in the unit: Quiet, disciplined, admired by his friends and commanders, and did everything he had to do without fault, he served in the Sinai for a long period of time under difficult conditions. , Did not violate an order and did not turn over the orders of his commanders. ” Shlomo was about to marry a wife and set up a home in Israel. He looked forward to the date of the marriage and made all the necessary preparations while he served. On the 17th of Tammuz 5736 (17.7.1976) Shlomo fell while serving in the Sinai. He was brought to eternal rest in the cemetery in Netanya. Survived by his parents, two brothers and a sister.
