Moshe, Shimon
Son of Haviva and Eliyahu, was born on July 3, 1964, in Bat Yam. Shimon studied at the “Tzippor” and “Tabenkin” elementary schools in Daughter of-Yam and spent one year studying at the Ort Shapira vocational school in Jaffa. Afterward, he studied literature at a school in Tel Aviv. Until his enlistment he worked as a hairdresser in the barbershop in Daughter of-Yam. Shimon was drafted into the IDF at the end of May 1983, and after basic training he was assigned to the rank of corporal and was promoted to the rank of corporal. On the 24th of Tevet 5744 (24.12.1983), Shimon fell during his service and was put to rest at the military cemetery in Holon. Survived by his parents and brother.
