Moshe, Menachem

Menachem, son of Aliza and Yeshayahu Moshe, was born on 13 August 1932 in Jerusalem. He studied in an elementary school and then studied framing. Menachem joined the Lehi underground and in his 16th year was already on the front lines of the battle for Jerusalem. Menachem fell on the 11th of Tammuz 5708 (18.7.1948) and was buried in the Sheikh Jarrah sector. On 28 Elul 5710 (10.9.1950) he was transferred to eternal rest in the military cemetery on Mount Herzl in Jerusalem.
