Moshe, Abraham


Son of Najia and Moshe, was born in Kiryat Tivon on July 29, 1961. Avraham began studying at the “Rakefet” school in Kiryat Tivon and spent one year studying in a vocational school in the framework of “frameworks.” Until his enlistment Avraham worked in factories Was recruited to the IDF at the end of January 1980. After basic training he was trained as an administrative employee, and after a year of service he successfully completed a truck driver course and was promoted to the rank of corporal. During the period of his service he married a wife, but soon the couple separated. In mid-March 1983, Avraham was released from regular service. He did not manage to integrate into the civilian environment, as he was called up for reserve duty in preparation for Operation Peace for the Galilee. On the 5th of Sivan 5743 (5.6.1983), Corporal Avraham fell in the course of his mission in Operation Peace for the Galilee and was brought to rest in the cemetery in Moshav Elroy. Left a mother, seven brothers and three sisters. His family commemorated him at the “Yehuda Hanassi” Synagogue in Kiryat Tivon
