Morley, Shmuel (“Momi”)

Morley, Shmuel (“Momi”)

Son of Avivi and Zahara. He was born on 10 July 1938 in the city of Fez, Morocco. He immigrated to Israel via France as part of the Youth Aliyah and entered the Yitzhak Aloni educational institution. Because of his extra sensitivity, his shell was hard, but his friends noticed that he was not the same. He was outwardly comfortable to be angry and aggressive but he had a good Lev and was ready to lend his hand and help him. In particular, he had a great fondness for the babies and in their company his face was radiant and his voice soft. After completing his training, he joined the Nachal group and soon his friends displayed loyalty and obedience, and spent one year at Kibbutz Hasolelim and worked diligently. He joined the competitors in a Nahal march, and went to Holland, where he participated in various battles out of courage, but some time later, on the 29th of Kislev 5711 (November 29, 1956), he fell while carrying out his duties and was brought For a rest in the military cemetery in Kiryat Shaul, his memory was published in the booklet Tevet 5717 of “Pages” (information of the Department of Immigrant Absorption of Children and Youth published by the Jewish Agency in Jerusalem)
