Mordov, Moshe
Moshe, son of Rachel and Isaac Mordov, was born in Israel on December 4, 1931. He graduated from elementary school and worked in horticulture. He was a member of the “Hapoel” Ramat Gan, was a boxing athlete and was a candidate for training in this sport in the United States. Moshe was a cheerful and kindhearted fellow whose friends were fond of him and proud of his achievements. Moshe was a member of the Haganah for three years. With the outbreak of the War of Independence he enlisted in the army, served in the Alexandroni Brigade and participated, among other operations, in an operation against Kfar Salameh. Moshe fell in Migdal Tzedek on the 23rd of Shevat 5708 (February 3, 1948)and was buried in Nahalat Yitzhak. . On the 23rd of Elul 5714 (23.9.1954) he was transferred to the military cemetery.
