Mordo, Chaim (“Vito”)

Son of Menachem and Roza. He was born on October 31, 1940 in Tel Aviv. Graduated from the Max Payne Professional School. He worked in electrician. From his love of the country he walked on foot from Rosh Pinna to Eilat. He was drafted into the IDF in October 1959. On the 25th of Elul 5721 (25.8.1961) he died and was brought to eternal rest in the military cemetery in Kiryat Shaul, and his memory was mentioned in Uri Milstein’s book “Wars of the Paratroopers.”
