Son of Shlomo and Sarah. Born in Tel Aviv on March 21, 1949, he studied at the Yavneh Elementary School and then completed his studies at the Yehuda Halevy Elementary School in Netanya. At first he worked in a laundry shop in Netanya and afterwards in a bakery in the city, and in 1965 began to work as a carpenter in the Pinsky Gallery in Netanya and was very successful in his work and from a young age he was discovered as a responsible and committed youngster, In February 1967 and the infantry was deployed. After basic training, he took a course in cooks and cooks, and six months later he was sent to a parachuting course and successfully completed it. Upon returning to his unit, he began to work as a cook, and his professional advancement was quick. He began his work as a junior cook and for a short period of time became a senior cook in his unit. Upon his discharge from the regular service, David decided to volunteer for the regular army. He continued to serve in his unit, and in 1974, when he married Yaffa and moved his place of residence, he requested a transfer to a unit close to his home, and his request was given to him. In 1976 his son Shlomi was born. He was a dedicated and loyal father and took care of all the needs of his wife and son. On the 10th of Tishrei 5737 (October 4, 1976) David fell in his service and was brought to eternal rest in the cemetery in Netanya, and left behind a wife, son and parents in a letter of condolence to the bereaved family. All with devotion and love. During his brief service in our unit we all knew him and loved him as a person, as a soldier and a commander. “
