Yosef, son of Gracia and Rafael, was born in Jerusalem on December 3, 1948. He studied at the Ma’aleh elementary school in Jerusalem and completed his studies at the “Kol Israel Haverim” high school, Joseph was drafted into the IDF in early August 1967 and assigned to the Ordnance Corps. After basic training, he was trained in a tank mechanic course and was sent to serve in the Armament Division in a tank brigade. He was a dedicated and disciplined soldier who fulfilled his duties with precision and perfection and was accepted by his commanders and Ehud for his comrades in the unit. At the beginning of August 1970 Yossi was released from regular service and assigned to a reserve unit of the Artillery Corps. Yossi married Aliza and together established his home in Jerusalem. He was the head of a devoted and loving family, and together with his wife he built a warm family nest that served a pleasant and pleasant atmosphere. In December 1973, his daughter Kati was born. He did not sever his ties with his parents’ home and remained loyal and loyal to the parents and was concerned for their safety and well-being. Together with his comrades he participated in the Yom Kippur War. On the 17th of Adar 5734 (17.3.1974), he fell while fulfilling his duties and was brought to eternal rest at the Mount Herzl cemetery in Jerusalem. He left behind a wife and daughter, parents, brothers and sisters.
