He loved various arts, he worked in ceramics, macrame, wood and other materials. Yoram also dealt in sports, swimming, table tennis, light athletics, long distance running and cycling. He was very attached to his extended family and helped his parents at home and his married brothers in their homes. He was shy and quiet, with a warm attitude to others. Yoram was close to his friends and neighbors and helped them when necessary. Yoram began to serve in the IDF in February 1984. In February 1984, he began serving in the Ordnance Corps, and as a professional in the automotive industry he sought to serve in the regular army, and was sent to a military base in Lebanon on 26.5.1984.
